RNA-Energy establishes RNA-Energy Romania with offices in Bucharest

RNA-Energy Ltd has established a fully owned subsidiary RNA Ro Energy SRL in Romania to focus on developing 1GW+ of solar and battery storage projects in the highly attractive Romanian market.

RNA believes that the current energy crisis coupled by a significant imbalance burden that is today left with renewable energy generators offers a very compelling opportunity for flexibility assets such as storage on the medium to long term while the country still needs to significantly grow its renewable generation capacity to meet the EU Net-Zero targets.
